Donor Advised Funds
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable account allowing tax-deductible donations of cash, stock,
and certain assets. We invite you to support Matheny through your DAF.

Volunteer
We offer volunteer opportunities to individuals 14 years and up, student groups, corporate groups and other organizations. Possible volunteer activities include, but are not limited to: gardening, themed parties, musical entertainment, adaptive sports, board games, and much more. Contact us to become a volunteer.
The Friends of Matheny
More than forty years ago, The Friends, was formed by a small group of compassionate and dedicated volunteers. The Friends is a 501c3 nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to funding programs, services, and equipment needed by the people served by Matheny. The Friends run the award-winning Second Chance Thrift Shop where people can find treasures and support a good cause at the same time. Located at 4 Church St., Gladstone, NJ, The Friends are always seeking volunteers to help out at the shop. Thanks to the proceeds from the shop, more than $3.5 million have been donated to fund countless life-enriching trips, special events, performances, adaptive technology, therapeutic equipment and much more.
