Thank you for your interest in an internship at Matheny!
As part of our commitment to the people we serve, Matheny provides internship opportunities for healthcare professionals, therapists, and educators, teaching them how to work effectively with persons who have developmental disabilities. Internship opportunities are available in the following areas: administration, medical, nursing, dietary, finance, psychology, social work, school, operations, and therapies.
Below are the Onboarding Instructions for accepted internship candidates.
Please note: all requirements must be completed prior to your start date.
1. Complete the Intern Data and Onboarding forms below:

2. All interns must be fingerprinted for the Department of Education (DOE). Please use these instructions to schedule your fingerprinting appointment. Email your appointment date(s) to Kelly Walsh, kwalsh@matheny.org.
3. All interns must meet the Health Requirements set forth by NJ’s Department of Health Hospital Licensing Standards and Matheny policies. Please review the Health Requirements here. If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Walsh at kwalsh@matheny.org or at (908) 234-0011 ext. 1321.
